PLANNING APPEALS

APPEALING PLANNING DECISIONS

90% of our planning appeals over the past 12 months have been successful.

If you have had your planning application or permitted development application turned down, we may be able to help you with your planning appeal. Contact us to discuss your case.

MY PLANNING APPLICATION OR APPLICATION FOR PERMITTED DEVELOPMENT HAS BEEN TURNED DOWN. HOW CAN YOU HELP ME?

One of our planning experts will review all of the information about your case and local planning rules to find a solid reason for your appeal.

If we think that there are grounds for appeal, we will complete the necessary paperwork. This will include preparing a comprehensive planning appeal report, which will assess the local councils reasons for refusal and the exact policies that have been used to justify a decision. We will address each policy and will put forward arguments to support your case.

Our report to the Planning Inspectorate will include evidence to support the planning appeal, such as a review of the area, and an analysis of similar precedents, previous decisions, and planning history.

We will then submit all the relevant paperwork to the Planning Inspectorate and assist the Planning Inspectorate while it considers your appeal.

WHO DECIDES ON MY PLANNING APPEAL?

The Planning Inspectorate is the independent body that hears appeals against decisions made by local planning authorities.

We will submit all of the necessary reports and paperwork to the Planning Inspectorate on your behalf. It usually takes eight to twelve weeks for the Planning Inspectorate to make a decision about house extensions. Decisions about other types of alterations can take longer.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO APPEAL?

Our fees for an appeal are very affordable and highly competitive. Find out more about our appeal package here or contact us to discuss your case.
